How to remove limescale and mineral deposits

Limescale is not ordinary dirt. It usually comes from hard water and requires chemistry selected for mineral deposits and resistant surfaces.

Controlled foam and cleaning performance test on a technical surface — Foam volume does not replace contact time, formulation, temperature and mechanics.

Confirm the deposit

White or grey scale often indicates limescale but may also be detergent residue.

Avoid sensitive materials

Acidic descaling products are not suitable for marble, natural stone, sensitive aluminium or damaged surfaces.

Control contact time

Too little time gives poor performance; too much time can increase material risk.

Rinse thoroughly

After dissolving deposits, remove residue and rinse according to instructions.
