How to remove labels, stickers and adhesive residue

Adhesive residue is difficult because the glue smears easily and the surface underneath may be sensitive.

Controlled foam and cleaning performance test on a technical surface — Foam volume does not replace contact time, formulation, temperature and mechanics.

Test the surface first

Glass, metal, plastic, coatings and laminate have different resistance. Test in a discreet area.

Remove the carrier layer

Take off as much paper or film as possible so the product works on adhesive.

Allow time to soften the glue

Immediate rubbing spreads adhesive and increases wiping material consumption.

Collect residue cleanly

Dissolved adhesive must be removed, not moved around. Repeat short cycles if needed.
