Plan a safe shutdown
Follow press and circulation-unit instructions and define how used solution and cleaning liquid will be collected.
Drain and remove sludge
Clean the tank, accessible surfaces, filters and dead zones. Circulating clean water alone may not remove attached biofilm.
Use compatible chemistry
The circuit cleaner must suit pumps, hoses, seals and metals. Follow documented concentration, temperature and time.
Rinse to a stable condition
Continue the specified rinse until foam and visible residue are gone and water readings are stable.
Restart and monitor
Prepare fresh solution with controlled water, measure pH, conductivity and temperature, and record the baseline.
